Glossy Box September 2011

I'm back with the contents of my September Glossy Box. Compared to what I could have got I think I was quite lucky. Usually you get five high-end beauty samples, you can imagine how surprised I was to receive actually three full-size products. There's just one item I have different feelings about, but first things first! :)

I'm not the only one reusing these pretty boxes, am I?

The September Box came with two coupons, one for LCN the other for ikos. I don't think I'll be using them, but perhaps one of you wants to.
* LCN - spend 20 Euros and get 5 Euros off - code gb0911 - valid until 31/12/2011 - www.lcnforyou.com
* ikos - spend 20 Euros and get a small bag - code Glossy Box - valid until 30/11/2011 - www.ikos.eu

Full size products
* Weleda Pomegranate Hand Cream - I love this stuff, the smell is amazing and it really nourishes my skin. I've been using this since it has been launched about three years ago. You'll find either a tube of this or of Weleda's Sallow Thorn Hand Cream in my handbag. One sample of Sallow Thorn Hand Cream (Douglas Box of Beauty) and a full-size tube of Pomegranate Hand Cream = happy me! :)
* Sans Soucis Perfect Nails nail polish in "Hot Chocolate" - it's one of those muddy colours and I just can't get enough of them, you'll find them constantly on my nails from September to March - in alternation with dark reds.
*LCN Special Mono Eyeshadow in blue silver - I suppose it is a dark blue with sprinkles of silver. I can't say anything about this and probably won't ever be able to since I'm not going to use it. Let me say this in a nice way, well, I can't - it just stinks! :( Definitely not good!

The samples
* KLAPP Extreme Hydra Complete face cream - I don't know this brand but I'm curious to try it.
* ikos Wet & Dry Professional Make-Up - I got this in medium an that's too dark for me so it'll have to wait until next summer to be used.

Have a lovely evening and see you soon!

  1. Years ago I write a beauty column, for the first 6 weeks I revelled in all the stuff I was being sent but you know I soon grew tired of it, I could barely use an 8th of it, plus writing about it very week was a tad challenging 6 months in!

    Have a lovely weekend.

  2. I begin to understand what you mean. I'm hardly one week into this and I don't enjoy writing about beauty stuff as much as I thought I would. Sometimes it is a bit shallow. :)
